Gold/Tulle OOTD

Hey guys!

So, I’m back with another collab featuring My Online Souk.

The lovely ladies over at MOS (find their website here) sent me another Diamanté-branded scarf to style – this time, it was black jersey scarf with gold detailing – which is obvi perfect for a wedding or an occasion that requires a lil’ bit of fancy.

Even though I’ve never styled/wore a jersey scarf as a turban before, I thought that this was the perfect opportunity to take on the challenge and make it work!

I found that because of the general thickness of a jersey scarf, I didn’t need to add any volume to the back of the scarf, in the form of a scrunchie/extra undercap, the scarf  basically created its own volume!

And just in case you’re wondering, I created this look, without the use of any pins – straight or non-snag. The jersey fabric really stayed on and didn’t budge throughout the entire duration of the shoot 🙂

I decided to pair this gold-detailed scarf with a full black ensemble, simply because I wanted the scarf to be the star of the whole look and to be honest, I think it worked out quite well!

I paired it with a loosely-fitted black cowel neck sweater and one of my all-time favorites, my black tulle skirt.

For accessories I kept it minimal, with a black velvet+rhinestone choker, a simple gold clutch and a pair of black patent heels.
